Kateřina Vacíková

Kateřina Vacíková (born February 1, 1983 ) is a Czech white water canoeist from SKUP Olomouc. She started in the kayak one and was world champion in the team in 2006 and vice-world champion in the individual competition in 2008.

International success

Vacíková was runner-up in the individual competition in 2008, behind Sabine Eichenberger from Switzerland and ahead of Manuela Stöberl from Germany. In the team competition she won the bronze medal with Petra Slováková and Anna Zasterová.

The whitewater racing world championships in 2006 in the domestic Carlsbad she became world champion in the team competition with Michala Mruzková and Lenka Lagnerová ahead of Germany with Alke Overbeck and France.

At the white water racing world championships in 2002 in Valsesia , Italy, Vacíková was third behind France and Germany in the team competition of the kayak single. - The race was not counted as a World Championship run due to only four participating teams.
