Manuela Stöberl (born July 12, 1980 in Donauwörth ) is a German canoeist .

Career

Stöberl began in 1991 when Canoe Club Donauwörth with the Canoeing and began in 1997 with the whitewater racing in One-kayak . She has been working for the Rosenheim Kayak Club since 2000. In 2004 she was nominated for the first time for the national team in white water racing. In 2008 she won an individual medal for the first time with third place at the World Championships in Ivrea . In 2012 she celebrated her greatest sporting success by winning the gold medal in a single kayak at the World Championships in La Plagne.

In 2004 she completed her studies with a degree in biotechnology (FH) at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences and in 2007 the master’s degree in “Food Technology and Biotechnology” at the Technical University of Munich . From 2014 to 2018 she was the managing director of the Faculty of Brewing and Food Technology at the Technical University of Munich. Since 2018 she has been head of the campus office of the Weihenstephan Science Center at the Technical University of Munich. She lives in Langenbach near Freising and has a daughter.
