Armond Fields

Armond Fields (born November 22, 1930 in Chicago , Illinois , † August 17, 2008 in Culver City , California ) was an American painter , graphic artist and biographer .

Life

Armond Fields grew up in Milwaukee , Michigan , where he graduated from high school. He then studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign , after which he received his doctorate from the University of Chicago . He then worked for several years in advertising and market research. From 1969 he started his own business as a market researcher and worked for several companies and organizations.

At the same time, Fields drew, painted and designed several graphics. From the mid-1980s he wrote about several vaudevillestars biographies, including the actress Maude Adams and the poet George Auriol .

Fields died on August 17, 2008 of complications from metastatic colon cancer .
