2008 White Water Racing World Championships
The 26th Canoe White Water Racing World Championships took place from June 5 to June 8, 2008 in Ivrea, Italy, on the Dora Baltea . It was the first time that team sprint competitions were held.
Due to flooding during and before the competitions, the schedule could not be adhered to as planned. In addition, the classic competitions had to be held on an alternative route.
