Whitewater Racing World Championships 2019

The canoe Whitewater Sprint World Championships 2019 took place from 25 to 29 September 2019 in Spanish Seu d'Urgell instead. It was the fifth pure sprint world championships in white water racing . After Pau 2017, it was the second joint white water world championships for white water racers and white water slalom canoeing since the world championships in white water racing and white water slalom were separated in 1995/1996.

A total of eleven competitions were held, for the men an individual and a team decision in a single kayak (K1), single canoe (C1) and two-person canoe (C2) and for the women an individual and team decision in a single kayak. Kayak and single canoe as well as an individual decision in two-person canoe. The most successful nation was again France.
