Kate Bracken

Kate Bracken (* 12. June 1990 in Scotland ) is a Scottish actress .

Life

Kate Bracken was born in June 1990 and grew up in Fort William . She attended Motherwell College Drama School , which she successfully graduated in 2011. She got her first television role in the television series George Gently - The Incorruptible . She played Hazel Holdaway in the episode Gently Upside Down . This was followed by an appearance on the television series New Tricks - The Crime Specialists . There she played Mia Adler in the episode Blue Flower . When Bracken moved to London in 2011, she auditioned for the British television series Being Human . She was cast in the role of Alex . This has its first appearance in the fourth season. Her role in the series was initially planned as just a supporting role, but was expanded to a leading role with the start of the fifth season.

Kate Bracken also became internationally known through the portrayal of Alex Millar in Being Human . This was followed by an appearance as Shirelle in the television film Rubenesque and several appearances as the shy Scottish girl Karen in the British television series Misfits .
