Katharina Kiel (born May 2, 1992 in Northeim ) is a former German soccer player who last played for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .
Career
Kiel has been part of the squad of the second representation of 1. FFC Frankfurt since the 2008/09 season , for which they played 32 second division games during this period and scored seven goals. Due to a torn cruciate ligament, however, the midfielder did not play any more from the 2011/12 season. In February 2013, Kiel then joined SC 07 Bad Neuenahr , for whom they made their Bundesliga debut on March 24, 2013 (16th matchday) in the 3-0 home defeat against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam when they played in the 89th Minute for Aylin Yaren came into play. For the 2013/14 season, Kiel moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , where she was originally part of the second team's squad. Due to good performances in the Regionalliga Süd , she recommended herself for the first team and from 2014 she was regularly used in the Bundesliga. At the end of the 2015/2016 season, she left TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .
After her football career, she works in a therapy center.
