Katharina Ohana

Katharina Ohana (née Kalle; born February 4, 1970 in Lich ) is a German social philosopher, psychologist and author.

Live and act

Katharina Ohana grew up with three younger siblings. In 1990 she graduated from the Ursuline School in Königstein im Taunus . She then studied philosophy, psychology and philosophy of science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and at the FU Berlin . She completed her master's degree on the subject of “Freedom and Self-Strength” in 1999 with Axel Honneth . Her doctorate with the title "No one can be different than he is: So we have to become freer. Freedom of will between repetition compulsion and neurobiological determinism." was successfully completed in 2015 at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna with Bernd Rieken and was published under the same title in 2016 by Waxmann Verlag .
