Kathleen Bonath (born August 3, 1965 ) is a former German volleyball player .

Volleyball career

Kathleen Bonath played many times for the GDR national team in the 1980s , with which she was Vice European Champion in 1985 , fourth in the World Cup in 1986 and European Champion in 1987 . Bonath was also active for SC Dynamo Berlin , with whom she was GDR champion and FDGB cup winner several times . She also won the European Cup Winners' Cup with Dynamo Berlin in 1985 .

Kathleen Bonath is now a sports educator in Berlin .
