The IFE Family and Property Interest Association, headquartered in Münster , Westphalia, is an interest group for families who want to own a home or who already own a home. The member association, founded in 1953 by Catholic priests and lay people, is active in the five North Rhine-Westphalian dioceses of Aachen , Cologne , Essen , Münster and Paderborn .

The association wants to help young and large families with small and middle incomes in particular to acquire property. The members are organized in settler communities and district groups. Families that do not belong to a settler community can still become members of the association.

The association advises its member families on all aspects of home ownership, financing, debt rescheduling, public funds, neighborhood law , building law and much more. As an interest group, it also represents housing policy issues to the federal and state governments, church bodies, organizations and the public.

According to the resolution of the general assembly on October 8, 2019, the VKS Katholische Familienheimbewegung eV changed its name on January 1, 2020 and has been called IFE Family and Property Association since then
