Kathrin Dedering

Kathrin Dedering (* 1974 ) is a German educationalist .

biography

Dedering studied pedagogy at Bielefeld University . She then worked as a research assistant in the Faculty of Pedagogy at Bielefeld University before, after completing her doctorate at the Institute for School Development Research at the Technical University of Dortmund , in the work unit "Control and Financing of Education" at the German Institute for International Educational Research and at the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University worked. After a professorship for school education and an appointment at the Institute for Social Work, Educational and Sport Sciences at the University of Vechta from 2011 to 2014, she holds the chair for educational institutions and school development at the educational science faculty of the University of Erfurt .

Research & Teaching

Her main research areas include school quality and school development research (external advice, evaluation procedures, inclusion) as well as control in education / educational governance. In teaching, it offers events on the German education system, school quality and school development research, empirical educational research and professionalization in the teaching profession.
