Kathrin M. Möslein

Kathrin M. Möslein (born May 4, 1966 in Middle Franconia ) is a German economist and university professor with a research focus on innovation and leadership.

Life

Kathrin M. Möslein studied computer science with a minor in economics at the Technical University of Munich (TU Munich), the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich . She graduated from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in computer science in 1993; there she received her doctorate in 1999. In 2004 his habilitation and venia legendi for business administration at the Technical University of Munich followed. From 2003 to 2005 Kathrin M. Möslein worked as Associate Director in setting up the Advanced Institute of Management Research (AIM) at the London Business School . In 2005 he took over the chair for strategic management and organization at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL), and in 2006 the Center for Leading Innovation & Cooperation (CLIC) was founded at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management . Kathrin M. Möslein has held the chair for business administration, in particular industrial information systems with a focus on innovation and value creation, at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg since 2007 . Since 2008 she has also held a research professorship at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management and continues to work as Academic Director of the Center for Leading Innovation & Cooperation (CLIC).

Fields of activity

The research and work focus of Kathrin M. Möslein lies in the areas of strategic innovation, cooperation and leadership as well as IT support in the company. Courses deal with questions of interactive value creation, innovation design and the development and implementation of innovation strategies and management systems. In addition, Kathrin M. Möslein has been Vice President of the European Academy of Management (EURAM) since 2007, Research Dean at the Faculty of Economics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg since 2008 and Research Professor at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) and Visiting International Fellow at Advanced since 2010 Institute of Management Research (AIM) in London.
