Political career

From 2011, Nachbaur headed the Stronach Institute for Socio-Economic Justice in Oberwaltersdorf , of which she was also vice-president. With the 2013 National Council election , she moved into the National Council as a member of the Stronach team, which was founded in 2012 . From October 2013 to November 2014 she was deputy party chairwoman and from October 29th 2013 to February 2015 she was club chairwoman of the parliamentary club. Wolfgang Auer succeeded as deputy party chairman in February 2015, and Waltraud Dietrich took over the management of the parliamentary club alone , after Dietrich had previously been the club boss together with Nachbaur. From January 2014 Nachbaur was a member of the Stronach Styria team.

Before her resignation as deputy party chairwoman in November 2014, it became known that Stronach Nachbaur had cut the fee as Vice President of the Stronach Group of around 140,000 euros per year, although she should not have any additional income as the club boss. This was legally circumvented by Waltraud Dietrich being the club's managing director. Nachbaur appeared in the media as a club boss and instead of the club hostess salary of around 14,000 euros, he received a member's salary of 8,300 euros gross per month. In addition to her parliamentary salary and around 10,000 euros from the Stronach Group, she received 4,000 euros as managing director of the TS Academy from February 2014.
