Kathrin Scholl (born November 26, 1979 in Oldenburg ) is a former German handball player .

Career

The 1.78 m tall circle player began playing handball at VfL Oldenburg in 1986 , with whom she later rose to the Bundesliga and made it to the DHB Cup final in 2002 . In 2002 Scholl switched to league rivals DJK / MJC Trier , with whom she won the championship in 2003. A year later she returned to Oldenburg. With VfL she won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2008 and the DHB Cup in 2009 . On March 10, 2009, she announced her retirement from competitive sports at the end of the season.

Scholl made her international debut for the German national team on April 7, 2006 in Riesa against Croatia. She played five internationals in which she scored a goal.
