Kathrin van Kampen (born October 27, 1989 in Bottrop ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder played 38 league games for Bundesliga clubs SGS Essen and SG Wattenscheid 09 .

Career

Van Kampen began her career at FCR 2001 Duisburg . In 2005 she moved from the U-19 of FCR Duisburg to the Bundesliga team of SG Essen-Schönebeck . After two and a half years, she left SGS Essen and moved to league rivals SG Wattenscheid 09 . Van Kampen played for the club from Bochum for the next one and a half years, came to TuS Harpen in the summer of 2009 and played the first half of the 2010/11 season for SuS Concordia Flaesheim, before moving to SG Lütgendortmund six months later . After a good six months, van Kampen, on loan from Lütgendortmund, went to Regionalliga West rivals 1. FFC Recklinghausen before returning to Lütgendortmund in January 2012 . There she was sorted out in May 2012 and moved to the women's Lower Rhine division RSV Glückauf Klosterhardt .
