Kati Naumann

Kati Naumann (born May 12, 1963 in Leipzig ) is a German writer , author and museologist .

Life

Kati Naumann studied museology. She worked as a museologist in the book museum of the Deutsche Bücherei Leipzig and in the musical instrument museum of the University of Leipzig . She writes poems, lyric texts for rock bands and song texts for various artists, such as for the classical duo Marshall & Alexander . Her musical Elixier with music by Tobias Künzel was premiered at the Leipzig Opera. Naumann worked for music programs on NDR television. For example, she writes scripts for the children's program “1, 2 or 3” for ZDF. She developed several children's radio play series (including "Die kleine Schnecke Monika Häuschen") and continues to write them.

family

Naumann's grandparents lived in Sonneberg, Thuringia, on the inner-German border, in the restricted area . There they ran a traditional doll factory.

Her father is the press photographer and author Martin Naumann (1932-2018), long-time photo journalist for the Leipziger Volkszeitung . Kati Naumann is the author's maiden name - her real name is Kati Künzel.

Kati Naumann is married to the singer and musician Tobias Künzel from the pop group Die Prinzen . The couple has two grown daughters and lives in Pönitz near Taucha and in London.
