Katie Hartman (born September 2, 1988 ) is an American ski racer . She lives in Breckenridge , Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado . Your strongest disciplines are the Super-G and the Super Combination .

biography

Hartman drove her first FIS races in November 2003 and finished in the top three for the first time two months later. In March 2005 she became the US junior champion in giant slalom and super-G. Since the 2004/2005 season she has also competed in the Nor-Am Cup , but did not achieve any top placings in the first few years. She took part twice in Junior World Championships , where her best result was a 27th place in the 2007 Super-G .

On December 12, 2007, Hartman achieved her first podium in the Nor-Am Cup as third in the Super-G of Panorama , three days later she won her first FIS race. She achieved further podium places in the Nor-Am Cup in the next two years, making her two times among the top five in a discipline ranking and ninth place overall in the 2009/2010 season . Her first victory in the Nor-Am Cup was on December 14, 2010 when she won the Super-G in Panorama. On January 29, 2011, she also celebrated a victory in the Super-G at the Winter Universiade in Erzurum . Two days later, she suffered serious knee injuries in a fall in the super combination of the Universiade, which is why she had to end the season early.

In the following winter of 2011/2012 , Hartman did not make it into the top ten in any Nor-Am race, only in the 2012/2013 season did she achieve top 10 results and podium places again.
