Katja Bildt

Katja Bildt (born in Nuremberg ) is a German opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Life

After receiving her first singing lessons from Gabriele Czerepan von Ullmann, she attended the vocational school for music in Upper Franconia in Kronach from 2004 to 2006 with a major in singing with Helga Kutter. In 2006 she began studying singing at the Liszt School of Music Weimar with Siegfried Gohritz.

She made her debut in 2011 at the Theater Nordhausen as "Lucretia" in The Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten . From 2012 to 2014 she continued her education at the Thuringian Opera Studio.

Since 2014, it has been a permanent member at the Theater Erfurt , she made her debut as part of their training, however, already in 2012 as "Donna Mercedes" in the Corregidor of Hugo Wolf .

In 2018 she performed at the DomStufen Festival in Erfurt under General Manager Guy Montavon . There she took on the title role in the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet .
