Katja Hutter

Katja Hutter (* 1982 in Rauris ) is an Austrian economist and lecturer at the University of Innsbruck .

Life

After Katja Hutter completed her diploma courses in International Economics and Business Education in 2008, she completed her doctorate with distinction under Kurt Matzler at the Institute for Strategic Management, Marketing and Tourism at the University of Innsbruck in just two years. She then spent research stays at Harvard University , where she has been a Visiting Fellow at the Laboratory for Innovation Science / Crowd Innovation Lab since 2013. In this context, she conducted research together with the American space agency ( NASA ), among others . She then went to the University of Salzburg , where she was appointed professor for marketing and innovation in 2016 . She has been Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Innsbruck since 2017.
