Katja Michalowsky

Katja Michalowsky (born August 29, 1974 in Greifswald ) is a German badminton player .

Katja Michalowsky is the daughter of Edgar and Angela Michalowsky , both former national players of the GDR in badminton. Her younger brother's name is Jan. Katja emulated her famous parents at a young age and has played 28 times for the national team of the German Badminton Association to this day. She currently works as a regional trainer for the Badminton Association Rheinhessen-Pfalz. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season she returned to her sporty roots and played again for her home club BSV Einheit Greifswald in the Oberliga Nord.
