Ruotsalainen Hiipakka, who started for the Teuvan Rivakka, made her debut in Kuusamo in November 2002 in the cross-country skiing world cup and finished 52nd over 10 km classic. She ran her first race in the Continental Cup in January 2003 in stock market , which she finished in tenth place over 5 km freestyle. In the following month she achieved her first podium in the Continental Cup in Hommelvik with third place over 5 km. In the 2004/05 season she came in the Scandinavian Cup with three top ten placements in 12th place in the overall standings. In March 2005 she got her first World Cup points in Lahti with 29th place in the sprint. In her last active season in 2005/06 she finished third twice and second three times in the Scandinavian Cup, thus winning the overall standings at the end of the season. In March 2006 she achieved her best placement in the World Cup in Falun with 22nd place in the skiathlon . In the same month she completed her 13th and last World Cup race in Oslo , which she finished in 28th place over 30 km freestyle.
