Katja Wölffing

Katja Wölffing (nee Gomolla , born August 20, 1975 in Marktheidenfeld ) is a German journalist and presenter of the ZDF morning magazine .

Life

Career

At the age of 20, Wölffing was a trainee at Funkhaus Würzburg and as a freelancer in the sports department. In 1996 she completed a business administration degree in Ravensburg in the field of media and communication economics with a specialization in journalism and public relations. In 1999 she acted as a presenter in the DSF news center. In 2004 she moderated the daily Sport Aktuell magazine on the rheinmaintv metropolitan area broadcaster . In the same year she worked as a news presenter at the MDR , before switching to the ZDF morning magazine as editor and presenter shortly afterwards . In January 2009, after more than four years of moderation, she left the ZDF morning magazine . She currently moderates the broadcasts Bundesliga aktuell and Sport1 News on the sports channel Sport1 . Since February 2012 she has also been working for the ZDF morning magazine again.

Personal

Wölffing is married and gave birth to their first child in April 2009.
