Katafanga (also: Katafaga , Katofanga ) is a small, uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Katafanga is a small island between Nuapapu , Kapa and ʻEuakafa . It lies in the canal together with Fonualai (W) and Sisia . Cape Fangaata from Kapa joins in the north .

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Vavaʻu group, Katafanga is occasionally hit by cyclones .
