Katrin Schröder (rower)

Katrin Schröder (born July 10, 1967 in Magdeburg ) is a German former rower who competed for the GDR .

At the Junior World Championships in 1984 and 1985, Katrin Schröder won the gold medal in the GDR eighth . At the 1987 World Championships in the adult class, the 1.84 m tall rower rowed from SC Magdeburg with the GDR eighth in fourth place. In 1988, Katrin Schröder won the GDR championship title with the GDR eight. At the Olympic Games in 1988 she started together with Kerstin Spittler in a two-man team without a helmsman and took fourth place. In 1989, Katrin Schröder again won the GDR championship title in eighth. At the 1989 World Championships in Bled, the Romanian eighth won ahead of the GDR eighth in the line-up of Martina Walther , Ramona Balthasar , Katrin Schröder, Anja Kluge , Annette Hohn , Ina Grapenthin , Ute Wild , Liane Justh and taxwoman Daniela Neunast .
