Kerstin Spittler
Kerstin Spittler (born December 16, 1963 in Waldenburg , GDR ) is a former rower from the German Democratic Republic .
Kerstin Spittler started for SG Dynamo Potsdam . In 1981 she was junior world champion with the eighth . In 1982, she and Carola Lichey took second place at the GDR championships in two-man without a helmsman .
The four in the line-up Carola Lichey, Steffi Götzelt , Jutta Abromeit and Kerstin Spittler and taxwoman Daniela Neunast won in 1985 both the GDR championships and the world championships . In 1986, Kerstin Spittler, Beatrix Schröer , Corinna Scheid , Carola Lichey and taxwoman Sylvia Müller were in the GDR foursome and won silver behind the Romanian boat at the World Championships . In 1986 and 1988 Kerstin Spittler won two GDR championship titles in eighth place . At the World Rowing Championships in 1987 , she finished fourth with eighth. At the 1988 Olympic Games , Kerstin Spittler competed with Katrin Schröder and took fourth place in the two-man category without a helmsman.
