Marija Ivanovna Fadejewa , married Alexaschina ( Russian Мария Ивановна Фадеева (-Алексашина) ; born March  4, 1958 in Pskow , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet rowing woman who won an Olympic bronze medal in 1980 with a tax woman.

Athletic career

Fadejewa was at the rowing world championships in 1979 in Bled ( Yugoslavia , today Slovenia ) together with Walentina Semenowa, Swetlana Semjonowa and Galina Stepanowa world champion in the four with helmswoman.

At the XXII. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow , Fadejewa won a bronze medal in the foursome with taxwoman along with Galina Sovetnikowa , Marina Studnewa , Svetlana Semyonova and Nina Cheremissina .

Life after exercise

After retiring from sports, Fadejewa initially worked as a trainer. After studying psychology, she has been working as a psychologist in a correctional facility in Pskov since 1993.
