Katsaros , or Katsarou ( Greek Κατσαρός, Κατσαρού , ( m. Sg. )) Is a place on the Sporades island of Skiathos . According to the 2011 census, it had 39 inhabitants. It is located about 2.5 km southwest of the main town of Skiathos in the southeast of the island near the beach Vassilias (Μεγάλος Βασιλιάς). The beach opens to the south so that the island of Tsoungria is visible. The place is determined by modern hotel buildings and holiday apartments. The settlement of Achladias is almost immediately to the south . The headland of Cap Achladies separates Vassilias beach from Achladias beach . There is the small chapel of Agii Asomati . A connecting road leads into the wooded interior of the island.
