Maho Katsuyama ( Japanese 勝 山 真 帆 , Katsuyama Maho ; born July 23, 1984 ) is a former Japanese skeleton pilot .

Maho Katsuyama started playing skeleton in 2002 and has been a member of Japan's national squad since 2005. She drove her first international race in November 2004 in Calgary as part of the Skeleton America's Cup . Katsuyama took ranks 38 and 34 there. In January 2005, she took part in the Winter Universiade 2005 in Igls , where she reached 13th place. A little later she took part in the Junior World Championships in Winterberg and came in 21st place. The next America's Cup races followed in November 2006, again in Calgary. The best result was a 15th place. The Japanese achieved the same result in her first and only skeleton World Cup race in January 2007 in her native Nagano . It was also Katsuyama's last international race. In the overall standings of the season , she finished 34th. At the national championships in 2007 she won the bronze medal.
