The Caucasus bellflower ( Campanula raddeana ) is a species of bellflower ( Campanula ) in the bellflower family (Campanulaceae).
features
The Caucasus bellflower is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 10 to 25 (30) centimeters and forms short underground runners and rosette lawns. The basal leaf blade is about 2 inches long, sharply toothed, triangular-heart-shaped, hairy and conspicuously veined. The calyx appendages are significantly longer than 2 millimeters. The calyx lobes are narrow triangular, ciliate and half as long as the crown. The crown is broadly bell-shaped and rough-haired on the nerves.
The flowering period extends from May to June.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 34.
Occurrence
The Caucasus bellflower occurs in the Caucasus and Southwest Transcaucasia on limestone at altitudes above 1300 meters.

The Caucasus bellflower is rarely used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens. It has been in culture since 1907 at the latest.
