Tua (born March 2, 1986 in Reutlingen ; bourgeois Johannes Bruhns ) is a German producer, rapper and singer from Reutlingen. He is under contract with the label Chimperator Productions . In the past, Tua had initially released his albums on the Berlin label Royal Bunker and switched to Deluxe Records in 2007 . Tua is also known as a member of the hip hop group The Orsons .

biography

Tua was born the youngest of five children to a Ukrainian father and a German mother with Kazakh roots. He initially attended various high schools, but dropped out of school in the 12th grade. As a child he learned the guitar and piano. At the age of twelve Bruhns began to produce his own songs. He used the pseudonym Tua, a short form of the term Tuareg . In Reutlingen he came into contact early on with Vasee , who was very active in the Reutlingen hip-hop scene at the time and organized a meeting for young artists with his own studio.

Tua's music cannot be correctly assigned to one or more genres, as it develops anew with every album., Melancholy, dark songs are typical for him. Many elements in Tua's music are repetitive, creating a dark, electronic, oriental style that hip-hop media describe as experimental and artistic. For the presentation of his texts, Tua uses rap , the form of spoken singing typical of hip-hop music . In addition, Tua uses melodic singing in some pieces. Bruhns has also mastered the instruments piano and guitar .

In early 2005 Tua received his first artist contract with the independent label Royal Bunker . About this he released his debut album Nacht in July 2005 , which Tua had produced almost entirely himself. The title So Much from the Album has been made available for free download. In 2006, the Reutlinger was represented with several articles on the label sampler Royal Bunker No. 1 Vol. 2 . As part of the group Bassquiat, to which besides Tua the members Sucuk Ufuk and Kaas belong, he then produced the album BQ 4 Life , which was released in 2007 by Bassquiat as a record company. For the album, songs with Kool Savas ( What is a woman? ) And Samy Deluxe ( Immediately go ) were created. The "Drrreckig South Tour" with Bassquiat, Kodimey and Maeckes & Plan B followed through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

After the Royal Bunker was closed , Tua switched to the Hamburg label Deluxe Records . In May 2008 he completed a joint concert tour with Kaas, Maeckes & Plan B, Pimpulsiv, Casper and Vega under the title Fast Wie Las Vegas Tour. The EP Meanwhile was released in June via Deluxe Records . In addition, in 2008 Tua was involved in the release of the debut album The Album by the group The Orsons, which is formed by Kaas, Tua, Maeckes and Plan B. The album was released on the Stuttgart label Chimperator Productions , with whom Maeckes and Plan B had an artist contract at the time of publication. As a producer, Tua made two beats for the album Dumm aber schlau des rapper Das Bo in 2007 . On December 19, 2008 the sampler Liebling was also released, I shrunk the label through Deluxe Records . Various pieces with Samy Deluxe and Ali A $ were created for him . Tua also contributed four productions for the sampler.

At the beginning of 2009 Tua was represented on Im Solo , the second album by Shiml from Bremen . He also produced a remix of the title Fick nicht mit uns by Kool Savas for his album Die John Bello Story 2 - Brainwash Edition . On February 13th, Grau Tua's second solo album was released. A video for the song Your Smile had already been made beforehand . Grau was produced entirely by Tua itself and features guest contributions by singer Vasee and rapper Kool Savas. He also appeared as a producer on Kaas' album TAFKAAZ: D in 2009 . The : D tour followed together with Kaas and Kodimey . Following this tour, Tua supported the hip-hop group KIZ and Imbiss Bronko on the Operation Desert tour, which ran until the beginning of June 2009. As part of a third tour, Tua played with Samy Deluxe on his Dis where I'm from tour. In September 2009, Samy Deluxe announced the closure of its label Deluxe Records , which had contracted two years earlier from the EMI Group and since then has held the status of an independent label. When the record company was dissolved, Tua lost his artist contract.

As part of Die Orsons, Tua then worked on the group's second album Because yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, in eternity, Orsons , which was released in October 2009 and entered the German album charts at number 79. Like the first album, this was released through Chimperator Productions . To accompany the release, Tua went on the Aqua Robot Tour 2009 with The Orsons in October . On February 12, 2010, Tua released the album Stille via Chimperator Productions , a new edition and reworking of various previously published and new pieces, including titles from the EPs Fast and Meanwhile . Since July 2010 he also has an artist contract with the Stuttgart label.

On December 3, 2010, the album Evigila was Tua 's first commercial release after signing the contract with Chimperator Productions . The album is a collaboration project with the singer Vasee . On Christmas Eve 2011 the label made an EP available for free download under the title (R) evigila . Remixes of eight pieces from Evigila can be heard on this .

His album Tua , released in March 2019, contains twelve songs. The song FFWD is a feature with RAF Camora . The song father is an examination of the death of his father.
