Vasee (2017)

Vasee (bourgeois Vassilios Parashidis ) is a German singer , producer , author and filmmaker of Greek origin from Reutlingen .

biography

Since 1998 Vasee has devoted himself full-time to music. On Tua's debut album Nacht , which was released in 2005 via Royal Bunker , Vasee was represented three times as a singer.

In December 2007, the Reutlinger published his own debut album Kapitel 1: Liebe & Licht . Vasee produced the music in collaboration with Andreas Rau and 41 other musicians from all over the world, e.g. B. the sound system Quarto Mundo from Brazil or DJ Yooter from New York. The only feature guest is Tua on the song What should I do? represented. In April 2010 Vasee appears together with the singer Cassandra Steen . Vasee often works with German hip-hop musicians . He has already been featured on albums by Ahzumjot , Kaas , and the Orsons . He has also been on tour in Germany with Fettes Brot , KIZ and Samy Deluxe . On Maeckes’s Null Kids Tour, Vasee will be there with guitarist Andreas Rau as support. Vasee appears with his band several times in the JVA Stuttgart Stammheim .

In 2010 Vasee was named "Best Singer" on HipHop.de, ahead of Xavier Naidoo and Moe Mitchell . His album Evigila , with Tua , got the title "Best Crossover Project". The HHV magazine praised  Evigila  in a review as an album that deserves the name " work of art ". The hip-hop magazine  Juice rated  Evigila  with four out of a possible six crowns and praised the  cryptic songs like “Scenes of the Desert” or “Red Balloon”, which score with their strong visual language . In addition, the  meticulously thought-out concept  and the  enormous attention to detail were rated positively.

In June 2011 Vasee made a pilgrimage from Reutlingen to Venice , on foot with a backpack, Isomate and a tent. Vasee processed the pilgrimage into a documentary.

Vasee has been producing videos for Tua's music since 2009. As a filmmaker, Vasee produced music videos for Tua , Maeckes , Die Orsons , Maxim , Stoppok, Kaas , and many more. Music videos are turned into corporate films for agencies and brands such as Daimler, Flex, Geka, Elring Klinger and Bosch. In 2014 Vasee took over the patronage of the Lazi Media Academy as an autodidact in the field of film and audio production . With the 9th grade of the Eduard Spranger School, Vasee won 2nd place in the "Music" category of a nationwide YouTube competition under the patronage of Federal Family Minister Kristina Schröder. The project was supported by numerous celebrities, including the “Fantastischen Vier”, “Silbermond” and Philipp Lahm.

Vasee has been a writer with Universal Music Publishing since 2013 . As a writer, Vasee wrote songs for Yvonne Catterfeld , chief boss, and Howard Carpendale .

In 2018 Vasee accompanied the 3 Musketeers EV with his camera - For people in need to the Syrian border, to Athens and later to Izmir to TIAFI, a community center for refugees. The result is the documentation "Bridges across borders - bridging borders" in collaboration with Markus Brandstetter.

Vasee is producing a music video for Vorstadt for Tua at the end of 2018 .
