Kay Stisi

Kay Stisi (born June 12, 1971 ) is a former German soccer player who later worked as a coach and manager.

Career

Stisi played for TSV Eltingen in the Württemberg Association League before moving to FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1994 . With the club he rose to the Bundesliga . However, he was never able to assert himself and did not play any of his professional games for Hamburg over the entire game. He played seven times as a joker in the German upper house, his only goal to make it 3-2 in the game against Hansa Rostock on March 24, 1996 earned him many fans. Shortly after the start of the 96/97 season, he played two first division games for Hamburg, he went to VfB Lübeck in the 2nd Bundesliga. But even here he could not earn a regular place.

Then Stisi moved to BV Cloppenburg in the Regionalliga Nord , with which he missed the qualification for the double-track regional league. Therefore, he joined the upper division VfB Oldenburg , for whom he played for two years. From 2002 he played for SV Wilhelmshaven . In 2004 Stisi ended his active career and became manager of the club. On April 5, 2007 he succeeded the dismissed coach Wolfgang Steinbach . On September 7, 2007, he was released from this position due to the poor performance of the team.

In total, Stisi was on the pitch nine times in the Bundesliga. He also played 15 second division games. He is now active in marketing and as a player agent.
