Kayapınar is a small town in Gercüş County in the Batman Province of Turkey . Kayapınar is about 82 km south of the provincial capital Batman and 14 km southwest of Gercüş. According to the population update (ADNKS, Adrese Dayalı Nüfus Kayıt Sistemi Sonuçları ), Kayapınar had 2,319 inhabitants, around eleven percent of the district's population. Just under half of them (49.46%) were female.
