Kazimieras Nauseda

Kazimieras Nausėda (born January 2, 1962 in Versmininkai , Šilutė district ) is a Lithuanian politician. He has been the deputy mayor of the municipality of Kaunas since 2014 .

Life

Nausėda graduated from the sovkhoz technical college in Šilutė . He then studied zootechnics at the Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija . He then headed the sole proprietorship IĮ Nausa and worked for the security company UAB Ekskomisarų biuras . He is the director of the Soterijus institution.

Nausėda is a member of the Lietuvos valstiečių ir žaliųjų sąjunga party , for which he participated in the 2004 parliamentary elections in Kaunas- Panemunė . In the party he heads the Kaunas department. In 2011 he became a member of the city council and has been Deputy Mayor of Kaunas since September 2014 .

Nausėda is married. He has five children with his wife Laima, who works for KMUK . Nausėda founded an association for large families to help themselves ( Respublikinės Gausių šeimų tarpusavio pagalbos asociacija ) and was its chairman.
