Kazimierz Materski

Kazimierz Ładysław Materski (born September 23, 1906 in Warsaw ; † February 3, 1971 ibid) was a Polish ice hockey and football player .

Career

Kazimierz Materski first played football for Hurricane Warsaw , KP Legia Warsaw (1925-1928) and KS Warszawianka (1929-1934). The midfielder only made three appearances for KP Legia Warsaw, while he scored 12 goals in 73 games for KS Warszawianka.

In ice hockey he played for the ice hockey department of Legia Warsaw , with which he won the Polish championship title in 1933 . From 1936 to 1939 he ran for the city neighbor AZS Warsaw . He fought in the German invasion of Poland in September 1939 and did not return to Poland until 1947 from captivity .

International

For the Polish national ice hockey team , Materski took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and the World Championships in 1931 and 1933 . Between 1931 and 1936 he made 28 international matches for Poland, in which he scored one goal.
