Kazuki Teshima ( Japanese 手 島 和 希 , Teshima Kazuki ; born June 7, 1979 in Iizuka , Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

career

Teshima started playing soccer in third grade. After middle school in Shōnai , he moved to the private high school Fukuoka-Ost ( Higashi-Fukuoka ), 100 km away , which has already won the national soccer school championships several times and has produced a large number of professional players. After graduating from school, he was signed by the first division club Yokohama Flugels in 1998 , and after one season he moved to Kyoto Purple Sanga , where he ended his career in 2009 with a brief interlude in 2006 at Gamba Osaka .

With the Japanese U-20 selection , he qualified for the 1999 World Youth Championship . In 2003 he was a member of the Japanese national soccer team , but was not used.
