The Kehe culture ( Chinese  匼河文化 , pinyin Kehe Wenhua , English ; Keho Culture Kehe Culture was an early) Paleolithic culture after 1957 in the village Kehe (Kehecun匼河村) of the circle Ruicheng in the Chinese province of Shanxi named discovered site has been. It was mainly found at the southwestern foot of the Zhongtiao Shan Mountains (中 条 山) on the left bank of the Yellow River ( Huang He ). It was excavated from 1960 to 1980. Archaeological research found that the Kehe culture is older than that of the Peking man , as the Dingcun culture discovered in Shanxi emerged from the Kehe culture.
