The Kehrenberg tunnel is a 2400 m long railway tunnel on the high-speed line Hanover – Würzburg in the area of ​​the North Hessian municipality of Körle . The structure accommodates two tracks that can be driven at speeds of up to 250 km / h as planned.

The structure was in planning section 13 in the middle section of the new line.

In 1984 it was calculated at 58.0 million DM with a length of 2366 m.

The tunnel was on 11 June 1986 struck . According to its godmother , it was called the Sieglinde Tunnel .
