Keiju Karashima ( Japanese 辛 島 啓 珠 , Karashima Keiju ; born June 24, 1971 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Karashima learned to play football on the school team at Yamashiro High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 1994 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 67 first division games. In 1997 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . In 1998 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . In 2000 he moved to the second division Mito Hollyhock . For the club he completed 36 games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
