No teeth in the mouth but La Paloma whistle is the unofficial debut album by No teeth in the mouth but La Paloma whistle . It was released as a self-burned CD-R in 2008 and as an LP in December 2015. The vinyl edition was released by the Kiel label JanML Records in collaboration with the Bremen label Crauts Recordings .

In December 2015 the actual first album of the Kiel-based company was released on LP and only then was the album discussed nationwide. The original recordings from 2008 received good reviews, the Ox-Fanzine awarded 9/10 points: "Anyone who has only come across the Kiel trio through the last two albums will be amazed at how mature their debut was." Meanwhile, Plastic Bomb magazine understands the reason for the re-release: "In the past few months this north German band has risen quite meteorically, so it is quite understandable that the band's early work should be published again. (…) Anyway, me KZIMALP really likes the songs because they sound wonderfully different from many other bands. " The magazine Visions certifies the band a rougher sound and more concise bass than the successors and "the electronic gadgets do not yet fit so organically into the overall sound".

Others

Jochen Gäde mostly writes fragmentary song lyrics. The song DBDDHKP is an example of this. The song We prefer to sleep on the bus is about the Grand Hotel Van Cleef label .
