Keith Gordon MacInnes

Sir Keith Gordon MacInnes C MG (1978) (born July 17, 1935 ) is a retired British diplomat .

Life

Keith Gordon MacInnes studied rugby and at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was President of the Cambridge Union Society. From 1953 to 1955 he was used by the British Army . Keith Gordon MacInnes joined the Foreign Service on January 15, 1960. From April 7, 1961 to 1963, he was third-class embassy secretary in Buenos Aires, later second class.

In 1964 he became private secretary to the Permanent Under-Secretary in the Commonwealth Office in London .

From 1968 to 1970 he was the embassy secretary for information in Madrid . From 1971 to 1973 he was employed in the FO. From 1974 to 1976 he headed the office of the embassy in Prague . From 1976 to 1978 he was employed in the FO. In 1979 he was the representative of the British Government's representative to the United Nations organizations in Geneva . From 1980 to 1981 he headed the news department at FO. From 1987 to 1992 he was ambassador to Manila. From June 1992 he was representative of the British government at the OECD . Mr. MacInnes is married with two children.
