Kel-i-Schin ( Kēl-a Šīn , Kelišin , Kurdish blue pillar ) is the name of a mountain pass in the northern Zāgros Mountains , which is located at an altitude of 2,981 meters as the state border of Iran and Iraq between the places Oschnaviyeh (Iran) and Rawanduz (Iraq ) runs. The so-called Kel-i-Schin stele acted as the namesake for the mountain pass .
