Kemal Gekić

Kemal Gekić (* 1962 in Split , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian pianist .

From 1978 to 1982 he studied piano at the Art Academy of the University of Novi Sad , after which he worked there until 1999 as an assistant professor. Since the mid-1980s he has performed as a concert pianist in numerous European countries, in Canada and in Southeast Asia. He now works as a professor at Florida International University . He is known for his interpretations of the works of Franz Liszt .
