Ken Wiesner
Ken Wiesner (actually Kenneth George Wiesner ; born February 17, 1925 in Milwaukee ) is a former American high jumper .
As a student at Marquette University , he won three consecutive NCAA championships from 1944 to 1946 . In 1945 he was US indoor champion.
After a five-year sporting break, he won the silver medal with 2.01 m at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki. In early 1953, he improved the indoor world record on March 14 in Milwaukee to 2.08 m and on March 28 in Chicago to 2.10 m.
