Kendra "Keni" Harrison (born September 18, 1992 in Tennessee ) is an American hurdler who is the current world record holder in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 12.20 seconds . She broke Jordanka Donkowa's almost 28-year-old record by a hundredth of a second.

Life

Harrison was born on September 18, 1992 in the US state of Tennessee and was adopted by Gary and Karon Harrison. Eight of their ten siblings are also adopted children of the couple. The first sport she practiced was soccer . She started athletics in high school.
