Kenji Ōshiba ( Japanese 大 柴 健 二 , Ōshiba Kenji ; born November 19, 1973 in Yamanashi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ōshiba learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Kofu High School and the university team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract in 1996 with the Urawa Red Diamonds . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 1999 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 124 games. In 2001 he moved to the first division club Cerezo Osaka . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2001 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . For the club he completed 34 games. In August 2002 he moved to the first division club Kashiwa Reysol . In 2003 he moved to the second division Yokohama FC . In July 2003 he ended his career as a football player.
