Kenji Kimihara
Kenji Kimihara ( Japanese 君 原 健 二 , Kimihara Kenji ; born March 20, 1941 in Kitakyūshū ) is a former Japanese long-distance runner and Olympic silver medalist.
Kenji Kimhara took part in the Olympic Games in marathon three times . At the 1964 Games in Tokyo he finished 8th in 2:19:49 h, at the 1968 Games in Mexico City he won silver behind the Ethiopian Mamo Wolde in 2:23:31 h and at the 1972 Games in Munich he was Fifth in 2:16:27 h In 1966, Kimihara won the 70th Boston Marathon in 2:17:11 h .
Kimihara had a competition weight of 58 kg with a height of 1.67 m.
