Kenji Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 健 二 , Takahashi Kenji ; born June 5, 1970 in Yamagata Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Takahashi learned to play soccer on the school team at Nihon University Yamagata High School and the university team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract in 1994 with the NEC Yamagata (today: Montedio Yamagata). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 416 games. At the end of 2006 he ended his career as a football player.
