Man Kit "Kenneth" Cheng (born April 7, 1988 in Hong Kong ) is a Chinese show jumper who competes in his native city. In October 2012 it was ranked 523 in the world.

Career

Cheng grew up the son of a horseman. His father, KM Cheng, represented Hong Kong at the 1986 Asian Games and just missed a medal rank as fourth in the final ranking.

Kenneth Cheng started riding at the age of five, but did not find any serious interest in riding until he was 15 when he first started tournaments.

At the Asian Games 2006 he reached 19th place with Cornalin CH , the Hong Kong team placed 12th here.

In 2008, at the age of 20, he was part of the first Olympic equestrian team in Hong Kong history. With Can Do he rode at the 2008 Olympic Games and finished 13th with the team and 54th in the individual ranking.

Cheng is a member of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Equestrian Team and is supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club with horses.

He lives in Europe and previously trained with Ludger Beerbaum . He has been stationed in Jos Lansink's stable since the beginning of 2011 .
