Kenneth Jonassen (born July 3, 1974 in Herning ) is a badminton player from Denmark who played for EBT Berlin in Germany in the 2010/2011 season . In the 2014/2015 season he is under contract with Bundesliga club TSV Trittau.

Athletic career

In 1996 he won the French Open .

At the 2004 Olympic Games , Kenneth Jonassen was eliminated in the 1/16 final against Chinese Chen Hong .

Kenneth played his way up to the final of the Aviva Open Singapore 2006 , where he was defeated by his Danish teammate Peter Gade with 21:14 and 21:10.

He was the smash record holder at 298 km / h until Fu Haifeng raised the record to 332 km / h in the Sudirman Cup in 2005 .

In 2008 he was European Champion in men's singles in his native Herning in Denmark.
